Circle of Service Project Ideas
- Clean up a highway
- Host a garage/rummage sale and give the proceeds to charity
- Participate in the Northfield Jingle Bell Run/Walk for exercise and to raise money for charity
- Package food for starving children around the world and donate money to pay for the food
- Help Build a house for Habitat for Humanity
- Make pajamas or host a toy drive for the Community Action Center’s Christmas Sharing Program
- Weed a City garden: check in with the City of Northfield Parks Department
- River Clean-up or other environmental related projects
- Help serve meals at Thursday’s Table
- Set your Circle up to be a Care Team for a family in crises or people with disabilities to help with meals, rides, housecleaning, yardwork, etc… (Program in development, more info to follow. If your Circle is interested in participating in a pilot program, contact us)
- Help and/or interact with people who have developmental disabilities
- Help with grounds keeping or other volunteer opportunities working with senior citizens at the Northfield Retirement Community
- Is your Circle good at Event Planning? Virtually any area non-profit could use your help
